Me impresionó solo abrirlo.

A few weeks ago while in a bookstore buying a book for my wife as many times I decided to stop by the photography section. There were many books, some of them had already read. I was a good time poking through the shelves until I got a book by photographer Joe McNally.
I was impressed by just opening it. The price was a little high, about 40 €, but as I always say, better a good book that thousands of courses. :)
I have not yet finished, I like to read slowly and absorbed into the blood of the author.
I was surprised the issue in which he speaks of his passing by Life magazine.
In this issue, Joe describes what the photographer's life, which is take a good picture and all that entails. He says that we should not give importance to the blandishments of a good shot over the account and I totally agree with him. When we sink into the sea north of flattery and we lose our photography is no longer ours.
We also often happens that today leaves us a good picture and we think we are the world's best and tomorrow we are the biggest shit on earth. We must live with this feeling. I have spent and spent many times for it. As you progress in this art and in many others, I commented that I have spent many years playing drums, you're demanding more and more, and thus demanding more from you with your work so you get a good shot is made more difficult .
I also commented that it is not necessary the best material and the best study. Very often I think of looking for a local small and inexpensive, because I think in this way I can work better, but my finances will not let me. Because of this I think I've improved a lot, You know why? because my head had to work to fill gaps in having a studio at my disposal.
Most of the photos I made at this time I have done in my house and this has led to sharpen the wit and much progress in the art of lighting. On many occasions thought about an object that was to house and thought he could do with it. In my head rode the whole scheme of lighting and where in my house was developed. He came home, picked up the object and the camera flashes and less than 15 minutes I had the photo. With all that I want to say that what matters is what you have in your head. Observe and learn from your surroundings. You learn more by observing that the best course. One exercise I do every day is to observe the shadows around me, wherever you are. I observe and I think that creates light, what is your position and how it could complement.
Well that's it for today. Forgive for this stuff but I think it is worth continuing the photographer Joe McNally.

Paulin Ntonga

On Sunday afternoon he had scheduled a session with the model Ntonga Paulin in an area outside near my house. When we arrived at the location we found that the area was occupied by a youth group. Not wanting to smash the party have decided to adjourn the meeting at that location. I felt bad having made Paulin come from the other side of town at all and I proposed the parking going to my friend and photographer Ramon Casamayor has been trying to draw any instant was not empty. I leave one of the shots you did with your outline and a video so you can see how I did it.
